 I Love Books! 

Also - this is what happens when the pictures books you have placed on hold over the past three months at your local library come in all at once. LOTS of pictures books. 

Favorites

Night Lunch by Eric Fan; Red by Jed Alexander; Anzu the Great Kaiju by Benson Shum; and Watch Out for the Lion! by Brooke Hartman. And I was very happy to see a new Max book because I always love Max. Also Agatha May and the Anglerfish is very cute.

I really enjoyed Natalie Lloyd's Hummingbird. It incorporates a bit of magic into its realism and deals with brittle bone disease. It made me cry - just a little - at the end. 

And T. Kingfisher's Nettle & Bone is a spectacular older YA/adult fantasy.
