 AUGUST

August was a very busy month! The grands came for a visit! It was also very, very hot. Lots of records were broken. And lots of reading was done! If you are headed back to school - or just like silly stories - be sure to check out Mr. S by Monica Arnoldo. I learned things from Stinkbird Has a Superpower by Jill Esbaum and also from Make Way:The Story of Robert McCloskey, Nancy Schön, and Some Very Famous Ducklings by Angela Burke Kunkel. My favorite books were The International House of Dereliction by Jacqueline Davies and The Labors of Hercules Beal by Gary D. Schmidt.
